check the tube that fills the icemaker with water, it is probably frozen.
Thanks for that tip but the ice maker is outside and thawed out.
Ok, but what about the metal fill tube in the freezer?
It stopped working last week and any water that would be frozen would of thawed out by not. I can blow in the tube and i can hear air going in ice maker. The new pump won’t kick on and pump water in maker. I turn on ice maker and hear the top control click which I should hear the pump kick on. Thanks
I’m sorry, this is an icemachine, not a refer…So when you turn on the machine, you should get water filling the holding tank, does that happen? It should then circulate water over the cold plate. Does water pump over the cold plate? then fill with more water, then the compressor and fan will come on, does that happen?

ge monogram ice make issue: I am having the same problem. Did you ever identify the solution?
Please help … would be greatly appreciated .. .I have wasted several; hours troubleshooting. Thank you.
Hi,
Here are my notes regarding getting the water flowing again in my 2000 GE Monogram ice maker. Each time, it has been the tube that feeds the water being blocked. I don’t know if this will work for you, but it has worked for me on three separate occasions: 10/30/08, 10/17/09, and 4/4/11. (Based on those dates, I wonder if it isn’t about time for me to have to do it again.) I’m sorry I don’t have pictures to help guide you along the way.
Best wishes,
Rob
