Brand: GE profile Model Number: SCB1001MSS 01 Main Symptom: display shifting back and forth What happens & when: clock display shifts back and forth quickly, then goes out. Oven works fine. Unpluging / repluging works temporarily

Parts or tests already tried: replaced Digitron GE WB27X10856 but still have problem except sometimes the display blinks brighter. I tested the transformer which it seems is discontinued and found resistance of white/black wires on one side to be 22.8 Ohm. On the other side I got yellow/black= 1.6, yellow/white= 3.9, black/white= 5.3, red/brown=1.2. All other combinations were open. Assuming the transformer is OK, what do I try next? Thanks

Steve, this is a tough call, there are (as you Know), several control and power boards with several of them being able to cause the problem you are describing. The control panel could be the issue, you have already replaced one main display board, there is another PCB board as well. With the control panel being NLA, There is not an accurate way to tell which part is the problem.
Thanks David! It sounds like you believe the unavailable transformer is not the problem so I think I may as well gamble on more parts. Which would you try next? GE WB27X10858 Display Control PCB? If that’s not it would you try another? Thanks for the help!
