Hi,

I need help with the repair of my GE microwave. It suddenly got louder and not heating. The model is GE PEB7226SF2SS.

Prior to not working, it occasionally sparked depending on the food, but we always stopped it right away.

Without a lot of testing, my best guess is the magnetron. Probably more money than the mw is worth, $160.00.
