GE JS750SF3SS F20 & F34 Error Codes

Brand: GE
Model Number: JS750SF3SS
Main Symptom: F20 & F34 Error Codes
What happens & when: Error codes display randomly, even when not is use. We need to keep the oven off at the breaker to keep the oven from beeping constantly.

When in use, temperatures are inaccurate and inconsistent. Sometimes, I’ll preheat and the oven will display 110 F, when it is hotter measured with a second thermometer. In this case, it cannot accurately stop at the preset preheat temperature.

Other times, I’ll preheat, to 400 F for example, and it instantly displays 400 F on the oven when the oven is still at room temperature.

Not sure if this matters, but we recently had a major storm with power outages and spikes. This started immediately after.

Error Code (if any): F20 & F34

F20 represents an over-temperature reading by the sensor. F34 represents a cooling fan issue. Make sure the cooling fan is running. If it is, replace the main control, as you said you already replaced the oven sensor.WB27X25361 Range Electronic Control Board | Genuine Ge OEM In Stock

Hi David. Thanks for the response. How do I ensure the cooling fan is running?

You should be able to hear it and feel air coming out of the vent.
