My icemaker is making ice okay, but the machine isn’t pushing the ice out on its own. When I turn the machine off and on and move the feeler arm back and forth a few times, the tines that push the ice out start to move, but then stop when the ice reaches the top. So then the ice just sits there until I knock it off or turn the icemaker on and off again, etc to move the tines again. Any idea of how to fix it? Thanks!
After a little more searching around on the internet, I realized it was probably the spring on the feeler arm that was keeping the ice maker from functioning. I checked, and sure enough, the top of the spring had popped out of the hole for it on the ice maker. We put it back in, and it’s popping out ice again. Woot!
