My ice maker, makes ice. Dispenses water, but auger will not turn to deliver ice. There is’nt a solinoid sound made when on the ice setting. The auger spins by hand freely. I think perhaps its the solinoid since there is no sound from the motor at all, but I am not the pro. Help me please
Remove the motor & solenoid cover. Tape in the door switch. Carefully remove the wires from the auger motor and check for 120 VAC between them while the ice dispenser calls for ice. Post the results.
