Main Symptom: Cannot remove temp regulator
What happens & when: Received the thermostat WR09X20002 but I cannot remove the temp regulator from the rear to install it…the video does not help

What’s the problem are you having? Is it the control panel? Do this:Control Panel Removal
1. Remove both Quadrex screws (a #2 Phillips
screwdriver can be used to remove Quadrex
screws).
2. Press in on the retainers to release the control
housing assembly.
There is a second retainer on this this thing that is apparently hiding the rear screw…and it is inviting me to damage the whole unit.
