Refrigerator/freezer had no power so I replaced main board and power was restored lights and all controls on door, and fan working as intended. Compressor would not start. Removed start relay and tested with multimeter and received proper readings per GE specs. Replaced start relay/capacitor and plugged back in still no response of any kind from compressor…no clicking, no humming, no vibration. Replaced thermostat and thermistor but still no response from compressor. I also have a new defrost strip that I can replace too.

Need to know if I have exhausted all possible remedies, and if I need to replace compressor.

How long did you wait for the compressor to come on when you replaced the board? There is a long delay when stating up, many models will go into a defrost cycle before coming on. If that is not the case, then the compressor is bad. Did you check for voltage going to the compressor? You should read 120 Volts.
