The burner control knob doesn’t seem connected to the burner switch. It seats properly on the stem, but the stem turns freely and loosely without engaging anything so the burner does not turn on. Any ideas?
To clarify, the knob firmly turns the stem. It’s the stem that doesn’t engage anything.
