The control panel seems to loose power and then reboots, no lights inside or out when it happens. Like all power has been lost. once in a while i tap the left door where the digital display is and it seems to boot back on.
Do I need a control panel, or control computer 
How can I check this for problems?

To enter self diagnostics during normal operation of the refrigerator press the ENERGY SAVER and ALARM/LIGHT pads for six seconds. The display will beep and flash. Continue to press both pads for an additional two seconds to enter the self-diagnostic mode. If any failure functions are present, those segments will now begin to flash.
