GE Electric stove (JB755DJ3WW) burner always on high

Left front Double burner wouldn’t work at all.

Replace Infinite switch and burner works, but always on high no matter the setting now.

Could it be the burner itself now?

The infinite switch is what controls the temperature. It sounds like even though the switch was replaced it is what would be at fault.
