So, after it fills with water, it does nothing? You replaced the latch and board? The motor is all that is left.
Does not fill. Does not start the cycle at all. In the past a flashing GREEN light resulted in the same. I replaced the door latch and it worked. Now, after a new board (behind the switches) I get normal lights and I’m able to change functions, type cycle, heated or not, etc. But when I close the door, green start light on, I get a flashing RED and nothing.
I’ve tried pushing the door hard into the latch, power reset, other google recommendations, no luck.
The main control is not behind the switches but is down at the bottom, just in front of the tub. With it not filling, there is either something wrong with the main control or the fill system. It should have a cancel/drain button, will that turn the drain pump on?
Not sure what you are referring to, but the control board I replaced is WD21X31902 a long rectangular circuit board with buttons that are pressed when washer selections are pushed. Right on top, underneath the selection controls.
My pump was working fine before and I’m not suspecting it. Yet. I am getting an error code 860. AI says it’s a communication issue between the new board and the control panel. I’m going to double check the wire harness plastic connectors and try one more time. Code 860 does not sound very specific unless you know. Thx
Or a bad replacement board…
The board WD21X31902 is a interface board that communicates to the board at the bottom of the toe plate area, WD21X22949
