2 year old GE dryer. Model GFDS140ED0WW. No power lights on panel or light when door is opened. It’s completely dead. It worked fine the 1st load dried of the day. My husband works with electronics and tested breaker, plug, and power cord going into dryer and it tested with full power. We ordered GE Dryer Power Control Board WE04M10008 after speaking with a GE repair person and an independent dryer repair store in town. They both said it HAS to be the power board and confirmed the part number. After a month we finally got the part in. With the breaker off he plugged it in to cords and front panel board and all lights came on like it should. Everyone’s happy! He turned off power to be safe and reassembled the rest of the dryer and it would not turn back on. He unplugged power and took it back apart to be sure no mistakes were made and everything was secure and plugged in. He backtracked to have everything like the 1st time it powered on and it’s dead again. No noises or smells occurred during install or powering up. Breaker was fine. I questioned that to be sure nothing sparked, etc. The breaker and dryer are still getting full power as before. Any ideas as to what is causing this? He has a meter but no schematics so he is unsure as to what wires/parts need what particular voltage at the panels. Now we are sad unless one of you sweet people can help.
I’m not that familiar with this particular model but this sounds like a power problem, i.e. dryer not getting power. Check voltage at power board connector CN111. Should have 120vac to neutral (pin 2) at pin 1 and at pin 3. Should be 240vac between pin 1 and 3. I’ve included the tech sheet with wiring diagram.

Thank you for your reply and the diagram. We knew there was a power problem and hopefully with the schematic he can figure it out. He spoke with another repair person today and he said it’s a matter of tracking down the wire(s) that may be bad and voltage, etc. He gave him some ideas to try. Apparently some of thevoltage readings my husband got are too low so it may not even be the power board but something going to it. So many wires…Uggggh!
If there is anyone else out there with suggestions, I appreciate any feedback we can get. Next time I will buy the extended warranty or I will go back to the old style dryer that lasted me 20 years! 
It’s so frustrating to spend so much money and 2 years later almost on the dot this happens!
