GE dishwasher won't run a cycle and controls don't all work

Brand: GE
Model Number: pdwt180rss
Main Symptom: Will not run a full cleaning cycle. Now some of the control panel buttons don’t work. Start still does.

What happens & when: I have a GE Profile dishwasher model # pdwt180rss. Last week I noticed when it was done with a cleaning cycle the dishes were still dirty. After troubleshooting a bit, it kept getting worse. The control panel only allows me to hit the start/reset switch and it makes a few noises like it’s entering different phases of the cycle but nothing is happening inside. Wondering if this might be the control board? Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Error Code (if any):
Parts or tests already tried: Tried running multiple cycles, and it’s gotten worse.

This does sound like a control issue. I recommend replacing the UI control, if the issue persists replace the control module.

The UI went out on my dishwasher also. is it possible for that failure to damage the other circuit board in the bottom of my appliance gdt655ssj0ss

I appreciate the response. Do you sell this part that will be compatible to my model? Thanks.

Check the complete model number as the one posted is missing some digits.

PDWT180R10SS. That’s from the label inside the tub.

Unfortunately, the control module assembly has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available for purchase. Its link is:
