Just to confirm, if you turn the power supply to the dishwasher off then turn it back on, it will allow for the unit to go into a cycle? When it is in the state of failure, press and hold the Select Cycle and the Start buttons at the same time for 5 seconds. Does the display or LEDs turn on? If not, the machine control at the bottom would need to be accessed and checked for an LED flash pattern. How many flashes occur per every 3 second pause, or does it flash 1 time a second or faster than that?

Yes, it does repower after unplugging it.

After holding down the start and cycle buttons for 5 seconds all lights flash and 860 appears on the display.

After the lights flashed and the software version 860 displayed, did the LEDs turn off and then an individual LED turn on such as Start, Heated Dry, Wash boost, or Clean? Also, was there a flashing LED on the machine control at the bottom of the dishwasher?
