GE Cafe CDWT980R10SS low water level

Brand: GE CAFE
Model Number: CDWT980R10SS
Main Symptom: Low Water Level
What happens & when: Won’t fill up with enough water. Water inlet switch replaced. Dishes on upper rack don’t get clean. If I add water manually to the tub, it cleans OK. Can’t find out how the dishwasher senses water level and what sensor if any that might need to be replaced.

Error Code (if any):
Parts or tests already tried: Replace inlet valve.

Check to make sure that the float is not sticking and if it is not then this would most likely be caused by a faulty inlet valve.

Thank you for the reply. The valve does turn on and there is water in the tub but it looks like the control board doesn’t leave it on long enough to fully fill the tub. How does the dishwasher sense water level in order to know when to shut off the valve? I know some models have an air pressure sensor under the tub, but couldn’t find anything for my model.

The water valve has a screen in it and catches sediment as times go on.I would replace as stated above. Here is your tech sheet!
