My GE Advantium Micro is located in the wall above my stove.
The unit seems to work fine (lights, fan, control panel, etc). If i use the Convection oven, it works fine. But ,if i use the Microwave function nothing gets hot. the turntable moves, the lights are on, etc but no heat.
i think i had this once before and the serviceman came and replaced a part. it was expensive and at the time, he said it was a simple fix.
any ideas as to how i can troubleshoot and fix this myself?
the microwave is in my RV and I want to go on a trip soon and need it fixed.

OK Here is what happened to me - today.
Same symptoms. Everything working except the microwave didn’t make anything hot. And we are having a party this weekend, so I was a little panicked.
I put the metal tray in and turned on the oven for about 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Don’t ask me why but I thought that the sensors might need “drying out”. I also cleaned all the air filters. It works. Not sure why. ANY COMMENTS WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
