I’ve been having problems with my dryer. The igniter lights the gas on start up. It shuts the gas down after about 2 minutes. If I leave it run it will cycle trying to light. No chattering on the gas valves, dryer was working fine before the blower wheel wore out. I just changed the blower wheel, thermal fuse, igniter. The blower wheel and the thermal fuse went bad first, I changed the igniter just because it was over 10 years old.
I had to change the thermal fuse when the blower wheel broke, do I need to change the multi-temp thermostat at the same time? I saw a video on the web and their advice was to change them both if the thermal fuse blew.
