Gene.[/quote]If you are talking about the freezer or refrig? It’s both. The refrig is running to cold and the freezer is to warm. GE and other manufacturers have adressed this problem.

Gene.[/quote]Google Garage refrigerator heater. Its a part that suppose to help a refrigerator work properly in a cold climate like a unheated garage in the midwest.
Sorry, I’m in California and never worked in a cold climate. Maybe somebody else on the forum can help you better.

It might be worth the price to give it a shot. Thanks!!
