Front load dryer not drying properly

On lower settings especially notice clothes not drying or takes 3 cycles to dry the same clothes.

Seems like I do get some heat on the higher settings but have not determined if that will dry a load set manually?

Checked the vent and it is clear, that is all I know to do without some step by step troubleshooting help

Thanks

Jerry

Unplug the unit and disconnect it from the vent system.
Now try a run.
If it now dries OK odds are the vent system needs checking/cleaning.
Be sure to check that the louvers on the outside of the house open correctly.
Check/clean the blower wheel.
Check that the lint filter is clean and that it is not coated with fabric softener residue.

If you do not want any lint in the house.
Take a pair of pantyhose.
Put one leg into the other and then attach this to the dryer’s vent.
Leave enough room so the pantyhose can balloon out like a windsock.

Both the above will let you check the temperature and the air flow.

I checked the vent, it was clean. A friend helped me check the high limit and one other thermostat and they seemed ok.

Also checked the element and that was ok.

My last suspision is the Thermodisc.

He thinks that might be a resistance type and we think it should read 50k?

It reads 7.5 ohms,

Thanks

Here is the wiring diagram.

Yes the thermistor should be around 50 Kohms.

Be sure to unplug it when checking it otherwise you may be reading the parallel resistance on the control board.
