Last night I replaced the door lock itself then relized the reason it broke was because the door lock was locked and someone (children) jerked the door open before it unlocked itself. I took the part off and my son grabbed it from me knocking the pins out of it before I could see how they went back. Does anyone know? It would be the bottom plug in that I am refering to. These plugs lye in there when the case is open they come out easily.
For anyone who was wondering what was wrong with the washer my 17 yr. son got ahold of it. I figured out that he had undone the front panel on the washer with out me knowing it. Then my husband said he did not hook the spring back up to make the door unlock :). I didn’t know that it had one due to him jerking the part out of my hand. Hard lesson learned for him…LOL! I learned don’t take anything apart around a teenager..
I did figure out the right way to put the pins back in.
