**What happens & when:**The start and convection buttons are not working on my Frigidaire oven. Model number is FGGF3059TFE. Tried cleaning the ribbon, unplugging for over 5Mins. And cleaning the touchpad. What should I do orReplace? The control panel or the touch pad?

Alil, with the two buttons not responding, the issue would point to a failure in the oven control, and the control assembly would need to be replaced.
That said, there is something to keep in mind during the repair. When transferring the existing touchpad overlay onto a new control, it’s common for the adhesive to not bond properly, which can lead to the overlay lifting or peeling over time.
Because of that, it’s usually recommended to replace the overlay along with the control. This helps avoid adhesion issues and also reduces the risk of damaging the original overlay during removal, which can happen fairly easily.
