Frigidaire Side by Side Ref. 24 degrees

The freezer section is +4 degrees and the frig is 24. Which control has failed, the Refrig or Frez or both or is it another problem? I have to turn the refirg. control almost off to close the electronic damper. The unit runs much of the time.

Any help?

I have to turn the refirg. control almost off to close the electronic damper. The unit runs much of the time. Don’t these units sometimes have a sealed system issue? I have to also turn the freezer control almost to the off position before the unit quits.

Any help?

Hi.

First of all make sure the door gaskets are sealing good.

Remove the control box (located on the top left in the fresh food section).
Check for any obstacles at the air damper door. If non, then
replace the control box assembly.
