My Frig is not defrosting,It was iced up and I thawed it out.Today it’s working but I know it will do it again.What should I do to isolate the problem?

Here’s a diagram showing the relationship of the evaporator coil, defrost heater, and defrost thermostat. First check to see if the defrost heater isn’t burnt out.
