Repair tech diagnosed problem & provided me with part number for DIY replace. Accessed control board on back of fridge and replaced with appropriate part received from this site. Upon powering up the refrigerator I noted that the issue was not corrected and in addition the interior lights on fridge were not operable with the new board installed. Putting the original board back in restored the lighting but original problem persists. Tried installing new board again with same result. It doesn’t seem likely that the new part is defective in the same way the old one was broken–is there a step/procedure I’m unaware of to install the new board?

I am enclosing the tech sheet with the service diagnostics, try the service diagnstics looking for errors and or fault codes.

Thanks Brad– I’m at a loss as to how to go about this though…. Only thing not working is the the display so how do I access any codes?

Using a multimeter, you would need to check for the power out of the main board going to the UI board on the dooras shown on the tech sheet, connector J14.
