That’s what I expected. Do you have any idea on how to remove the front panel to replace this item. And do I use the same overlay or do you sell a new one, or do I need one?

Double check the console before you order it. There are springs and touchpads on a controller underneath the console. If those are broken or misaligned, they can cause the problem you described. it looks like the console has no electronics on it. This is something new. They typically have a ribbon that connects he console to the control, this does not have a ribbon. Glad you said something!
