wire connector to control board fried
I’m replacing the control board on my range, but one of the plug-in wire connectors is fried. How do I identify and find a replacement for that plug-in (blade type) wire connector ?
It doesn’t look like the manufacturer lists those connectors as individually serviceable parts, normally this would mean that the harness would need to be replaced, but the manufacturer also does not list that harness either.
Yep…that’s the problem. I was hoping that someone might be able to identify the type and manufacturer of the part so that I could contact them. Or identify the type so that I could get a comparable part. OR…do you think it’s possible for me to purchase 2 fully insulated individual connectors in order to connect the two wires contained in this header? (see image) 51QFZqJSw6L.AC_SL1500|226x500
We cannot suggest modifying the harness in that manner. You may want to contact the manufacturer to see if they might have more information.
