Frigidaire oven locking latch stuck

Model fef369cgtc, the door latch is in the locked position, the oven door is open, the door cannot close. The “lock” light is flashing. None of the oven functions are operable, “dr” is displayed. My wife thinks she pressed the “quick bake” switch when this happened. What to do? Thanks.

Push and hold the oven light switch(on the door frame). Press the Cancel button on the control panel and look if the door lock will move to open.

That worked beautifully, thanks.

You are welcome. I’m glad it was that simple.

Thank-you very much, I don’t think I did any damage trying to make it shut before I came upon your great explanation, I really appreciate it, as it closed smoothly and I even got to sweep behind it!!!

Great advice

Just tried the door switch and cancel button , it worked! Thanks so much.

THANKS FOR?YOUR TIME AND CARINGNESS TO HELP?OTHER WITH THIS CHALLENGE:100::folded_hands::+1:

In addition to the above trick (thank you) I also had to hit start time button.

So it was hold oven light button, off and stat time all at the same time.

Omg, the tip about hitting the off and start time button at the same time as the oven light button worked for me. Thank you so much ! I had tried everything and almost given up.
