Frigidaire(Old style) Gallery front load washer

The door lock buzzes when starting machine. The Model # is 41739012890, Frigidaire, baught at Sears. I was told Frigidaire made this model for Sears. Repairman got proper door look assembly. The connections to harness don’t fit. One had 4 connections, and the other had six. Called parts people to make sure it was the right part. It is. What kind of kit and parts like new latch, door lock assembly are needed to make the machine work. It’s in good condition, except the door lock problem. I need what parts are needed, and instructions how to replace old door lock. What is confusing,it is a Frigidaire nameplate, baught at Sears.

You are correct in that this is a Frigidaire made machine sold under the Kenmore brand. Guess what, Sears don’t make anything. Their washers are generally made by Whirlpool or Frigidaire. You can tell the Whirlpool machine because the model number starts with 110 and you can tell the Frigidaire machine because the model number starts with 417.

Any here is a link to a service manual that may be for your model,

and what you need to do is call APP parts and order the parts. If you give them both the model number and serial number, and the serial number is very important here, they should be able to get you the right parts. If not, call up Sears and yell at them, yell at them really good.

Good luck, hope this gets you the right parts.

Okay good, but you need to talk to APP parts operations Those of us who respond on this Forum are volunteers and we are not part of the APP parts sale department.

Good luck.
