Frigidaire In Wall Oven panel showing Err F11

Hi:

Oven continuously beeps; rarely takes input from keypad - even to set the clock. Occasionally stops beeping when you hit the start button. Will not heat or do anything. Powering off, trying to lock and unlock provides no solution.

Any good ideas on how to resolve this/ The oven was manufactured in June of 2008 and has been used once or twice.

Thanks

Bob

You have to join the site to download the manual but it is free and this is a very good site for manuals and other info for the appliance repair DIYer.

Looks like F11 is a shorted key.
Note: This error will also show up if you hold a key closed for too long (around 20 seconds)

So the problem is likely in either the control panel (keypad) or the clock/timer (control board).
Thjey do not publish info on how to check the keypad.
You could try unplugging the unit and then disconnecting the keypad from the control board. If the same error shows up then I would say it is a control board problem.

If F14 error (display not connected) comes up then I would go for the keypad.

Sorry but it is an educated crap shoot but still a crap shoot and these parts are expensive.

If you do the above trouble shooting then you may may want to try AppliancePartsPros as they will let you return the part if it does not fix your problem. See their return policy.

Please do not just order both boards on a guess as I would hate to see them stop this return policy.
