Frigidaire glass top burner not working

Main Symptom:6”/9”burner will not come on
What happens & when:When I turn the knob, it makes the clicking noise, but will not light up or heat up. The clicking continues as if it is heating, however. This happened about a month ago and after a few weeks, began working again. Then, it stopped and hasn’t worked since. Also, the display above the knob is starting to have some of the lights go out. Example is that when I turn the knob to 8.8, it looks like 0.0. Any suggestions as to whether it is the element or the control board? Thanks for your comments in advance.

This issue will most likely be caused by a faulty relay board which I have attached a link for.
