my parents frigidaire fridge was not cooling properly,figured out it was the defrost timer.I replaced that and it worked fine for a few weeks,no more coil freezing up.But now a few weeks later the oposite,it is now freezing fresh food and liquids.Help!

First is the evaporator/freezer fan running?
What is the freezer temperature? It should be between 0 and 5 degrees F.
There should be a vent lower down on the wall between the fresh food and freezer sections. Is it clear of food items on both sides.
If you look at the damper (Item 15 in Section 3) you will see that it has a thermostat mounted on it. This controls the damper door which regulates the amount of cold air entering the fresh food side.
Check if it is open.
Adjust the fresh food temperature setting to see if the damper will close.
