Frigidaire freezer LFFH21F7HWG control board mostly doesn't work

Main Symptom: only one function on control board works and that is farenheit to centigrade adjustment
What happens & when: Item did not work. I put on a new control board, which immediately caused it to turn on when I plugged it in and to cool and freeze properly. But it gave me an error code 8, so I put on a new Thermistor. It cools properly but there is no adjustment on the digital control board, other than the option to change from Fahrenheit to centigrade. Is there anything else to try?

Hello, there are two possible causes for this issue.

The first is that the control lock may be activated. You can check this by pressing and holding the control lock button if the LED beneath it is illuminated.
