Frigidaire FEF336ECE - oven won't heat

brand new guy here looking for some help…

The top cook surface still works fine. The controls/clock appear to work and there’s the normal “click” sound when you hit the start button to begin heating the oven on either bake or broil. I’ve always assumed that was the relay firing to send power down to the elements. But neither of the elements inside the oven ever get warm.

It’s been working fine until my wife went to bake cookies last night and since then it just won’t heat up.

thanks for you help. Benji

Anybody got any thoughts? Could be the control board, door switch, thermal couple, or is there a replaceable fuse in there?

Thanks

Hi Benji,

If there is nothing wrong with the wires between the control board and the heating elements then the problem is a bad control board. You have to order the overlay too because it is self adhesive.
