Looking to replace the hi temp thermal fuse but not sure if that will solve the problem. I need my dryer back.

Two ways to check it:
The Proβs Method
Unplug the unit.
Remove one wire from the fuse.
Measure it with a meter.
Should be 0 ohms.
The Jiggery Pokery Method
Unplug the unit.
Remove both wires from the fuse and short them together.
Tape them up so they cannot short to the frame etc.
Plug it in and give it a try.
If it is blown replace it ASAP as it is a critical safety device.
Give the interior including the blower wheel a good cleaning.
Also clean and check your vent system.
These are the most common causes of it blowing.
I have the part now how do I replace it?
See the following

Would also be a good idea to clean and check the rear drum bearing.
Re-grease it with high temp grease.
Also check the belt etc.
