The start button does not depress and start. The button is sticking out further than normal. Do I just need a new switch?
First I would test the push to start switch and see if it faulty … After unplugging the dryer, remove the pannel behind the the controls and using a meter, test for continunity across the leads while at the same time depressing the push to start button … Also visualy inspect to see if the part is broken or cracked.
