Frigidaire Dishwasher not draining and stoping without completing cycle

Main Symptom:dishwasher not draining and pausing mid cycle
What happens & when:when i try to run cycle. It won’t complete it and pause mid cycle and if i open the dishwasher there us pool of water / or soap water . I checked the drain hose it looked fine, i cleaned filters as well

Hi Ajanbi,

When you start the dishwasher at the beginning of the cycle, do you hear the wash pump turn on?

Also, just out of curiosity, do you have a food waste disposal (garbage disposal)

No there is no food stuck.. and when i start dishwasher it sounds like working fine.. it stops after some time without completing cycle. Nd there is pool of water at bottom tht wont drain

Hi,

Here is a tech sheet that will help you enter service mode. I think you may have a bad drain pump, but before replacing it, go into service mode and double-check for any error codes or test results.
