I have a side by side. The freezer works find but the frig. does not. Putting my hand to the vent I don’t feel cool air coming in. But when I open the freezer door I feel cold coming through the vent into the frig. area. I close the freezer door and no cold air again. I crack the freezer open very slightly and it has cold again going into the frig. I tolk thinks apart and no icing up, fan working fine and can feel defrost working. This has me stumped. Any help please!! Bill:confused:
Hi Bill,
Make sure the air return on the bottom of the wall between the sections is not blocked. You will need to remove the crispers in the fresh food compartment.

It was a air flow problem Frig. was too close to the wall not allowing outside vent to help the fan keep the temp. down on the compressor. It was overheating causing the coils to frost causing low air flow and when freezer door was closed it could not pull air across the coils. When freezer door was open then it would pull air from the freezer to the frig. Thanks, Bill
