The refrig at first when we plugged in didnt turn on except the light. door got slammed,, and started working great. ran for a few days then seemed to quit working again except for the light. temp was at 60 degrees in compartment. adjusted the temp setting to high was running near 7 but went to 9 to see if it would kick on but nothing. then turned dial to off heard click then turned back on to 8.5. refrig eventually cut back on “no slamming involved,:)” but never got below 50 degrees and kept running.
Check the freezer for signs of defrost failure, i.e. snowy ice build-up on and behind the freezer wall. Be aware, though, that given the age of the appliance, you may also have a leak in the sealed system, causing low, or no freon.
will the freezer still work properlly if the whole unit is low on freon or has a freon leak.
can the freezer still work correctly if unit is low on freon or leaking?
it seems the air flow to the fridge is not working properlly, but works fine in freezer. is there a manual available so that i can properlly dismantle the unit?
