I have a front load affinity washer from Hell. I have had many issues with this unit. The current issue now is that it will not spin the clothes dry. I noticed a humming noise and smelled something out of the norm (rubber, wires melting) there is also about 1 to 2 inches of water in the bottom. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
You have our sympathy on these Frigidaire front loaders.
If you have not already done so, clean out the pump and drain hoses, a lot of stuff tends to get stuck in there.
If that does not fix things or you have already done this, post back and let’s see what else we can come up with.
