3 weeks ago I woke up to a puddle of water and warm fridge. Freezer froze up and wouldnt keep cold. Freezer was at about 40 degrees. Removed everything and unplugged the unit. We were just leaving for 5 days so I left it unplugged and plugged it back in when we got home.
Worked fine. Freezer around 3 and fridge around 34 degrees. Last Saturday, fridge was back up to 58 and freezer was up to 25 degrees. Opened the back panel and it was all frozen up again.
Unplugged it and let it defrost. From everything I read, it seemed like the defrost thermostat was bad. Ordered one Monday morning from here and just replaced it. Plugged the fridge back in and the lights turn on, but nothing else. No cold air or even sounding like it is going to turn on.
Not sure what could have happened. Any ideas.

You check the outlet for 120v?
Outlet is working fine. Lights are turning on inside, just nothing else.
you make sure you put the defrost timer in correctly and installed it with it unplugged…check that area you worked in and make sure you didn’t pull off any other wires to anything else
Doubled, even tripled checked other wires in there. I thought the same thing at first since I didnt have that much room to work in there. Broad shoulders. Watched the video for the installation a couple of times before installing it.
Can a faulty thermostat not let it turn on? Not saying the part is bad.
You’d have to check the tech sheet for that but i doubt it…check behind the fridge for the compressor relay see if you have 120v back there and check to see if you hear the relay clicking after plugging it in…
No clicking or any noises.
Not sure what to think right now.
Check youtube videos on how to check you start relay and overload on your fridge should be helpful for you.

Welcome…i think after you watch a couple video’s you’ll have an idea of what to look for.
I just replaced the start relay on the fridge. Plugged it back in and still nothing.
I took the overload relay out and the start relay out again. put them back in and still nothing.
Lights will turn on in the fridge and freezer but no lights on the front panel. Cant even click to have water or change a temperature on it.
Starting to get a little upset with it right now
Any other advice
Also no fans are running. not inside or outside near the compressor.
It seems like it is not getting any power to the start relay to start anything.
