Are you trying to reset the fridge?

Are you hearing the compressor trying to start and it takes a few tries?

Are the inside lights working?

I really need more specific information about the issue you are having

Compressor starts to work after 5-10 times attempts, with humming noise, inside lights are ON, fridge and freezer are cool enough, evaporator fan replaced recently due to weak airflow push.

For model PLHS269ZDB2, the compressor start/run capacitor and start relay are failing and will need to be replaced. Replacement capacitor and relay parts are available for this refrigerator model.

I’ve included links to both parts below.

How to replace the capacitor and relay

  1. Unplug the refrigerator from the power outlet.

  2. Pull the refrigerator away from the wall and remove the lower rear access panel.

  3. Locate the compressor at the bottom rear of the unit.

  4. Remove the relay and capacitor assembly from the side of the compressor.

  5. Disconnect the wire connectors from the old parts.

  6. Install the new relay and capacitor, transferring the wires one at a time to ensure proper placement.

  7. Reattach the assembly to the compressor.

  8. Reinstall the rear access panel.

  9. Plug the refrigerator back in and verify that the compressor starts and runs normally.

I have attached links to the parts for your model.

If you need assistance locating the correct replacement parts or would like a step-by-step video, let me know and I’ll be happy to help.
