Main Symptom food is freezing in my fridge

Start by checking the refrigerator thermistor and the air damper.

where is the thermistor located ? I believe myself that’s what it is but wanted a professional opinion.
The thermistor for the refrigerator is near the control box in the fresh food section.

So I changed the thermostat and thermistor and the fridge is still freezing food. The damper is working the way it should and the evaporator is not all iced up either.
OK, can you check the temperature in both sections (freezer and Refrigerator) after it has run for 24 hours with the doors closed? Also, when you looked at the evaporator, can you tell me if it was completely clear of frost or ice, partially clear or iced, or frosted up any portion?
The temp in the fridge is at 22 degrees and the freezer I didn’t take a temp as everything is frozen. The evaporator had a little bit of frost on it. But nothing that I thought was bad. It was dripping when I had it off.
It sounds like you may have a sealed system issue, with everything running the way it is this is about all that is left. You will need an EPA-Certified technician to check and repair these issues.
