Worked previously for 6 months and then stopped cooling at all.
Heartbeat88, do any lights operate in the refrigerator, or is it completely dead?
The inside lights work. The cooling fan next to compressor works and compressor seems to be vibrating
If you remove the back cover in the freezer, is there any frost on the evaporator? If there is, could you take a picture of it and post it on here?
I’m pretty sure there’s not as it’s warm in the freezer compartment but I will tear the back off and update for sure
No ice on back.i removed back cover in freezer and there is nothing on it.
With there not being any frost pattern at all, and with the compressor vibrating as if it is operating, this would be a sealed system failure. This could be a sealed system leak or a restriction. Unfortunately, an EPA-certified technician would be required for further diagnosis and repair.
If the compressor doesn’t seem to be working, would there be anything to try or would it be a bad compressor?
As this could be caused by a few things sealed system related, including a possible compressor failure, the only thing I could suggest would be that an EPA-certified technician would be needed to proceed any further with diagnosis and repairs.
