Main Symptom: Door Rubbing
What happens & when: Replaced both friction pads. Rechecked installation and all seems correct. Now there is a horrible rubbing sound when door opens and closes

Does the sound seem like it is coming from one of the hinges or does it seem like it is coming from further up on the dishwasher?
It’s definitely coming from the hinges both sides.
It would be worth checking the hinges to make sure they are not bent in, which can cause excessive friction against the pads.
Here is the noise it’s making.
Do either of the hinges seem like they might be bent in towards the frame? Also, does it seem to be from one side or from both sides?
