Main Symptom:freezer light
What happens & when:
Freezer light won’t go off when door is closed. I replaced Reed switch. It didn’t fix it. I replaced the PCB Board and it worked perfectly for 2 days. Now the light is constantly ON when freezer door is closed. The light for the freezer is on the underside of the FLEX ZONE DRAWER in the door part.
When freezer is closed, I open the flex door. The light stays on til the drawer is pulled out about 6 inches then it turns off. If I keep the flex door open (light off) and open the freezer door the light stays off. When I close the freezer door and flex drawer, light comes back on at about 6 inches before the drawer is totally closed.
Is there some switch on the flex drawer that is causing this?
I bought the two parts you suggested and it only worked for a couple of days.
Samsung support says that fan goes OFF when drawer is open and so when light is on fan is off. I think that is wrong.
