Main Symptom: Not cooling properly throughout entire freezer cabinet
What happens & when: I discovered a couple items that were thawed in freezer, still cold but not frozen. Everything else was still frozen in the frozen, a few days later I found two more packages that were beginning to thaw.

It would be recommended to check and see if the evaporator coils are impacted with ice. If they are then this will be a defrost system failure in which youw ill need to test the defrost heater and thermostat. If they do not check ok then they will need to be replaced. If they are good then replace the control.
Is there a way to test that without seeing ice compaction? The freezer has been unplugged and open for a few days.
You would really want to see that because the thermostat has to reach 15 degrees to close for continuity.
