Freezer cold at bottom and warm at top

Main Symptom:Bottom of Fridge and freezer are cold but top is much warmer. I do not hear a fan

It would be recommended to check the evaporator fan motor to make sure that it is working. If the fan is not running then test to make sure that there is 120 vac getting to the fan motor. If there is but the fan is not running then this would be a faulty fan motor that would need to be replaced.

Thanks, that was my thought. I removed the fan and tried a volt meter with no voltage reading. Then I hooked it up to a 120 circuit. It did not run. So I ordered one. Got it in a day. Will try it out soon.
