Can you attach pictures of the harness connector and the connection on the flowmeter?

Ah, you’ve pulled the entire electrical connection off of the old flowmeter along with the harness connector, you need to remove the remains of the old flowmeter’s connector from the harness. Watch the video on the parts page below and you’ll see what I’m talking about.
I dont think your accurate. its an older model that used a different connector, this connector simply slides in/out.
The video shows the exact same connector as what you have there, you’ve just pulled the entire connection off of the old flowmeter. I can see the release tab in the picture you sent where the harness is supposed to be disconnected from the part you pulled off of the old flowmeter.

Found that the machine was built mid year 2013, during that timeframe they were using a small circuit board that slides into the flow meter housing, not a plug .
From the plug and connector in the picture you sent of what you pulled off of the original, that harness plug disconnects from the board that was in the flowmeter.
The picture below was taken in 2006 and is of the original main harness for this machine. This model had a few 2-wire connections with blue wires, but none of them came with that little circuit board, the harness plug can be disconnected from the flowmeter’s plug-in as shown in the video.
