Felt replacement in hotpoint

Hello all. First post. I have a Hotpoint dlb34000sblwh, and the clothes were getting stuck between the drum and the plastic piece at the front. After a little research, I ordered a new felt strip. Part: Part Details - GE Felt seal, part number: AP2043005
I cannot figure out exactly where to put it in. I bought the dryer used. I cannot see an existing felt strip at all. I cannot find any instructions online. I called in, and the man said he didn’t have any instructions. I’m fairly technical, but I don’t know where to start here. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Never mind. I took the front piece off by removing 4 screws, and I saw where the felt piece went under the front of the opening. There were some remnants of the old piece, but they were cleverly disguised as lint.
